The neighbourhood bus
The neighbourhood bus is a small bus that runs according to a fixed timetable and route. The bus can accommodate up to eight passengers and is driven by enthusiastic volunteers. This keeps smaller villages and communities easily accessible as well.
Just like on regular buses, you can travel with an OV-chipkaart, OVpay, a subscription or a student travel product. You can also buy a ticket from the driver using a debit card or credit card.
Due to limited space, the neighbourhood bus is not accessible for wheelchair users. Are you travelling with a wheelchair? Then you can use the regular bus or, if you are eligible, Wmo transport.
