What is Wmo transport?
Wmo transport is transport for people who, due to a disability, illness or old age, cannot travel independently using public transport or their own means of transport. Through the Social Support Act (Wmo), the municipality helps residents to remain mobile and participate in daily life.
Within Wmo transport, various transport options are available. A commonly used form is collective transport. This allows passengers to travel from door to door, for example for visiting family, shopping, an appointment or social activities. In addition, depending on the situation, other provisions may also be possible, such as wheelchair transport or transport to daytime activities.
